The stone catcher can be used to remove loose stones from the auger hole.
When drilling a hole with a hand auger, loose stones can appear or fall into the auger hole. This special stone catcher was designed to remove these, so that the drilling process can be resumed without damage to the auger or to create a free hole to install a monitoring well pipe.
Augers should be left to air-dry after use and decontaminated with soaps. Rust will naturally appear on these augers, read the brochure for more information.
