Water sampling

Water sampling takes place prior to water testing. A water sample can be examined for certain types of pollution, for example. Sampling and research can guarantee safe and healthy water use.

Sampling groundwater

A pump is used to access the deeper groundwater. The monitoring well is often purged first and then samples are taken. The MP 1 pump can pump water from a depth of up to 90 metres. For shallower groundwater levels a peristaltic pump is sufficient, which can pump up to 9 metres deep. The ball valve pump sits in the middle and can sample water from a depth of 50 meters.

Sampling surface water

We offer various instruments for sampling the water column, depending on the research needs. The Watertrap is suitable for sampling in fast-flowing water and the Van Dorn, thanks to its composition, can also be used in coastal waters. Finally, the Kemmerer is suitable for general water sampling in lakes, canals, wells and in the sea.
