Ball clamp for CPT that can be used to either push or pull a specific diameter of tubes. To switch between pushing or pulling, simply turn the clamp upside down.
The ball clamp is designed for specific diameter of tubes up to 36 mm / 1.44 in. The capacity is 260 kN / 26 tf (long) and the balls inside the clamp housing are made of hard metal. The balls will grip the tubes such that the clamping force is distributed to prevent damage or deformation of the tube.
The ball clamp can be combined with the mechanical clamp to function as a catching clamp.
