The gouge auger set for top layers is used for sampling of the top layers of arable land, in particular for a nitrate- or a fertilisation research. This set is also suitable for medium hard and hard soils.
The auger for arable land, with an operational length of 25 centimetres, is used to take samples from the furrow. The mineral auger, also included in the set, is used to take samples from the top layer up to a depth of 60 centimetres. This 1 kilo of tools solves most sampling jobs and is perfect to use for chemical sampling in the root zone.
Because of their operational length and small diameter the included gouge augers are most suitable for sampling of the top layers of arable land, in particular for a nitrate- or a fertilisation research. Thanks to the slim auger bodies there is less friction from the soil.
Applications
The state of the soil is a determining factor in the dosage of fertilisation on arable land. This gouge auger set is a great tool for sampling. After analysis of the samples taken with this set, it is possible to determine a fertilisation program.
