Riverside (bucket) auger for hard, stiff soils, mixed with fine gravel both above and below the ground water level. Available as one-piece auger or bottom part with various diameters and connections.
This design is most suitable for augering in hard stiff soils, mixed with gravel. The very sharp extremities of the auger bits point at a downwards angle. This design makes the auger go through the soil easily.
To achieve optimal results, the auger type should be chosen in respect of the soil type in question.
Augers should be left to air-dry after use and decontaminated with soaps. Rust will naturally appear on these augers, read the brochure for more information.
